The Mountaineers Foundation
The Mountaineers Foundation promotes the study of the mountains, forests and streams of the Pacific Northwest, and contributes to preserving its natural beauty and ecological integrity. They fund modest, short-term projects consistent with those purposes, with a maximum grant normally at $5000.
They support projects in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia. Application deadlines are February 1st, May 1st, and September 1st.
