Project Wet offers environmental education for grades PreK-12 through an attractive 500-page curriculum and activity guide. Project Wet was created in 1984 as part of Montana State University's water course program. The curriculum and activity guide was developed, field-tested, and reviewed by over 600 educators and water resource experts. Over 150,000 teachers have been trained on and use the materials of Project Wet which has reached millions of students.
Project Wet focuses on grades PreK-12 with activities adaptable to a specific grade level.
Since students have a strong natural interest in water, understanding about water quality, water resources, and natural systems is an effective way to create broader environmental knowledge.
Project Wet:Project Wet is packaged as a 500-page curriculum and activity guide.
Teachers have described Project Wet as comprehensive, thorough source for background information on water resources, well-designed activities, encourages students to explore, adaptable, fits standards, and helps students find water relevant and meaningful.
The Project Wet curriculum, activity guide, and supplemental modules are only available after attending a training workshop at a maximum cost of $50.00. To contact the Project Wet Coordinator in your state for a workshop schedule, go to www.projectwet.org. The workshops are usually offered several times a year and on weekends.
