Lorrie Otto Seeds for Education Grant Program

The Lorrie Otto Seeds for Education Grant Program provides grants to educational organizations to establish outdoor learning centers. As a program of Wilds Ones, the grantee organizations will be those that most successfully reflect the Wild Ones mission to educate and share information about the benefits of using native plants in the landscape and to promote biodiversity and environmentally sound practices. Awards range from $100 to $500 and go towards the purchase of native plants and seeds. To be considered for the annual award, applicants must submit an electronic application by October 15th of the year prior to the grant year. Notification of awards will be made by February 15th of the grant year.
