Lexus Eco Challenge

The Lexus Eco Challenge is a life-changing opportunity for teens across the nation to make a difference in the environmental health of our planet, one community at a time.

To participate in the challenge, a team of five to 10 students and a teacher define an environmental issue that they find important, develop an action plan to address the issue, implement the plan, and report the results.  The Lexus Eco Challenge consists of three challenges. The focus of the first is “Land and Water,” while the second focuses on “Air and Climate.”  Selected winners will compete in the Final Challenge in March for a grand prize. Teams have the opportunity to win $10,000 in each of the first two challenges and up to $30,000 in the final challenge.
